NDG Hampton Court 2005
Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2005 was a chance to create a avante-garde naturalistic garden. The theme of the garden was geology. I used my knowledge and passion to create a space that represented the dynamic process that formed the British Isles.

“The most exciting design this year is Juxtaposition by Nicholas Dexter for Perennial. This intriguing space illustrates the geological upheavals of the Scottish Highlands “
Tim Richardson, Sunday Telegraph (July 2005)
“Nick Dexter definitely a designer of the future.”
Mary, Devon (May 2009)
“For me, this is the best in show – it’s all subjective I know and that is what makes Chelsea so exciting! This garden uses the ubiquitous “water feature” in a fresh, new and exciting way – the way the water hits the wall at the back and then flows down the stream is wonderful!”
Gilly, Bury St Edmunds (May 2009)
“A fabulous garden with innovative use of glass to expand the area available for gardening and biodiversity with a fully functional seating area.
I fully expect to see the use of glass in decking to start to become commonplace now, especially as an excellent method for close, safe observation of water life in a garden used by very young children.
BRAVO!”
Richard Bufton, Mitcham, Surrey. (May 2009)
