A free garden design is misleading because to build a successful garden one must understand the site. It also takes knowledge manipulating space, balancing open and closed areas and creating a framework that links the architecture of the building to the garden.
In the past I have considered creating templates for “regular” shaped gardens but I have always dismissed this concept as I believe there to be too many variables involved for a “one size fits all” approach.
